In case you have large files stored on Dropbox, you do not need to download these files to your computer and attach to Gmail in order to send to other people. Now you can attach Dropbox files directly into Gmail. Here are the steps
Step 1: First, download an extension for Chrome: Cloudy in here. Click Free to install Cloudy.
Step 2: After you have finished installing Cloudy, open and create email in gmail. Now look at the bottom of the text editor, you can see the clouds form, click on it to attach files.
Step 3: When the attachment window pops up, select Dropbox and click Connect to Dropbox
List of files stored in your Dropbox will appear, select the files you want to send and click Upload
Step 4: Cloudy will automatically download and attach your file to gmail.
Next, simply edit the text and send the email.
